So…I’ve been going through it lately and I’m done with it. As most of you know I am an independent Hip Hop artist in ATL, but that’s just half of my story. I am also a college graduate who keeps the lights on and food on the table by working a job in a industry that I despise (i.e. news media). I won’t include the name of my employer, but just know that I HATE my job!!! No offense to the people I work with. Some of you were great encouragement, whether directly or indirectly if you know what I mean.
I have balanced the two fairly well up until this point, but balance will not allow me to excel. If you look at a double sided scale one side has to decline in order for the other to rise. It’s time to choose which side I will put the majority of my weight.
So…If you will be in ATL April 1-4 make sure you plan to attend Music University. This is a 4 day LEARNING event for anyone who wants to be in the music industry. These events will but you face to face with people such as Don Cannon, DJ Toomp, Sean Garret and more. Start taking yourself seriously and register!!! Click Here for more info.
