I have decided to cut the “Send SIMP to the Grammy’s Campaign” short. This however is not an admission of defeat, it is merely a change in game plan. All the money pledged will not be taken from your bank accounts and we are encouraging you to donate the amount you pledged to Haiti. There will be plenty of time to get to The Grammy’s. It is an honor just to have been afforded the opportunity, which is already a leg up on a lot of other indie rappers. There are so many things that I want to do with this opportunity but its important that I don’t put the cart before the horse. Besides…I am grateful for the support I have received and what better way to show my gratitude than to “Pay it Forward” to those in need of the same? (For more info on how to donate read below)
Thank You All,
SIMP

Shortly before 5P on Tuesday evening, a devastating 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti, crippling a country already known as one of the poorest in the world. The country’s capital, Port-au-Prince, was significantly damaged. Buildings crumbled to the ground, roads ripped apart and communication systems were interrupted. Thousands of Haitians are now homeless, but people question when and if Haiti can rebuild. As rescue crews continue to pull survivors from the rubble, hospitals struggle to treat an ongoing influx of patients. An International Red Cross spokesman estimates 50,000 Haitians are dead- but the true toll is unknown. (Click Here to Donate)
