Black Dynamite

Any fan of blaxploitation flicks from the seventies is going to love the soundtrack and score to 2009’s blaxploitation satire Black Dynamite. Heck, any fan of music should enjoy these albums. The music is authentic and convincing. You’ll swear you’ve heard these sounds somewhere before.

This is real music folks, reminiscent of Isaac Hayes or Curtis Mayfield. The soundtrack is a compilation of groovy riffs and solid baselines all designed to fully immerse you in the 70’s.  And the score is equally as representative of the soulful sounds one might’ve heard during the days when 8 tracks and disco ruled the roost. Here’s a sample. Give it a listen and let me know what u think.

Tropicola is one smoothed out jam. I can imagine a laid back Q-San flow on that for real!

That Chicago Wind track is dope as hell when the vocals come in! I agree very Curtis Mayfield reminiscent.

Yeah, chicago wind reminds me of something Wu-Tang might’ve sampledback in the day.
