I disagree with the “trying to be hard” theory. can’t be hard in skinny jean. Everybody wants to be cool.
His point about our race as the only race that degrades our women is not true either. Rock n rollas like Kiss and countless other rock bands degrade women as well. Black people just do it better unfortunately.
The skinny jeans fad has only happened recently. It its still not accepted as much as the Gucci Mane or Young Jezzy type of image. I do agree with you about black people not being the only ones, but the rate at which it is done and the acceptance of it far exceeds any white counterpart.
