According to OK Magazine “Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has passed away… due to injuries he sustained yesterday after falling out the back of a moving pick-up truck. He was 26.”

Help SIMP Vote on The Grammy’s Pt. 5

So…this is the 5th and final category!!! Best Rap Album!!! It is def the hardest category to make a decision on. I was very surprised and impressed that none of the choices in this one were typical. Take a look:

Now…all of these albums have added something refreshing or excitingly new to hip hop this past year. Eminem’s album was number one on Itunes in every country except Spain.  Mos Def’s “The Ecstatic” brought back the thought provoking sound that many Hip Hop fans have been missing. Common took it back to the 80’s Hip Hop era with “UMC” and provided us with a High Energy sound over Neptunes tracks. Q-tip dropped the Renaissance which was quickly labeled as a classic by many hip hop elite. Flo-Rida polished up his sound and crossed hip hop further into the Pop world.

With all that said I think I’m gonna choose Mos Def “The Ecstatic”, but I will honestly say that I have not listened to all of these albums. So, I truly need your help if my vote is going to change and if I am overlooking something. What do you think?
